Mockup deliverable for VapeHub
Internal Linking Gameplan

Collection & Product Page Module Mockup

Concept reference for the four new internal-link modules. Three template views below — collection, product, brand. All product, category and guide links resolve to real VapeHub URLs; product imagery and brand logos pull live from VapeHub's S3 asset bucket.

How to read this

  1. Each page section starts with an intro card listing the modules being added to that template, what each does, and why.
  2. The mock below the intro shows where each module sits. Modules are colour-coded and numbered ① ② ③ ④ — the numbers in the intro card match the numbers on the mock.
  3. "Where it goes" labels on each module (top-right) tell you placement on the live page.
  4. Spec note in italics inside each module is what to pass to the dev team.

Collection page

vapehub.co.uk/pod-kits/ (and every other category page)

The biggest gap in the current site. Right now collection pages are dead-ends after the product grid: no sibling-category links, no brand grid, no related content. This template gets three new modules.

1
Above the product grid

Module 1 — Sibling-category pill row

What: A row of up to 10 chip-style links to related categories (e.g. on /pod-kits/ → Prefilled, Refillable, Big Puff, 6000 Puff, 10000 Puff…).

Why: Users who don't see the right pod type bounce. Pills give them sideways options and tell Google the categories are tightly related.

2
Below the product grid

Module 2 — Shop by brand grid

What: An 18-tile brand logo grid linking to /brand/X/ pages.

Why: Brand is the #1 way vape buyers shop ("I want a Hayati"). VapeHub has 56 live brand pages and not one of them is linked from any collection page right now.

3
Bottom of the page

Module 3 — Related guides & reviews

What: 4 article cards linking to existing VapeHub blog guides, tagged to the current category.

Why: 38 buying guides + reviews are already live on the site — none are linked from collection pages. Drives the blog ↔ commerce loop.

Pod Kits

Pre-filled and refillable pod kits from the UK's leading vape brands.

1Sibling-category pill row
Above grid

Spec for dev: direct sibling categories of the current page, sorted by GSC clicks (last 28d), capped at 10. Plain anchor tags styled as pills, monochrome, no images.

2Shop by brand
Below grid

Shop by Brand

Spec for dev: brands with ≥3 in-stock SKUs in the current category, top 17 by SKU count + "View all brands" tile. Lazy-load logos. Each tile = single anchor.

Product page

vapehub.co.uk/hayati-pro-ultra-plus-25000/ (and every other product page)

Today's PDPs have one thin "More like this" carousel that pulls semi-randomly. Buyers landing on a Hayati page see Uwell, Voopoo, and Vaporesso products. This template gets two new modules that fix navigation and content depth.

4
Breadcrumb, hero pill, and after-hero carousel

Module 4 — Smarter cross-linking on the PDP

What: Three changes — (a) a deeper breadcrumb with brand + sub-category, (b) a "More from [Brand]" pill in the hero pointing at the brand collection, (c) the existing "More like this" carousel filtered to the product's category (other Big Puff Vape Kits, etc.).

Why: One small pivot to brand (the pill — single click for users wanting more from this brand), one richer pivot to category (the carousel — visual alternatives for users still shopping). Today the carousel pulls semi-randomly (Uwell, Voopoo on a Hayati page) and the breadcrumb is a single shallow level. Two template changes plus a one-line query change.

3
Bottom of page

Module 3 — Related guides (brand-tagged)

What: Same module as on collections, but tagged by brand instead of category. On a Hayati PDP, shows Hayati care guides + reviews.

Why: A user on a Hayati PDP from search wants to read deeper Hayati content. Currently zero contextual content links exist on PDPs.

4Deeper breadcrumb (a)
Top of page

Currently: Home › "BAN-PROOF BIG PUFFS" — single shallow level. New: Home › Brand › Sub-cat › Product.

More from Hayati

The Hayati Pro Ultra Plus 25000 is a high-capacity prefilled pod kit from Hayati — a refresh of the popular Pro Ultra range. Uses Pro Ultra Plus pods (also sold separately) and runs on nicotine salt e-liquid. ↑ Inline links — already done well on this PDP. The gameplan rolls this pattern out to every PDP via content QA.

4Category cross-sell carousel (c)
After hero

More Big Puff Vape Kits

Currently: "More like this" pulls semi-randomly (Uwell, Voopoo, Vaporesso). New: filter by current product's category, sorted by popularity, with "View all [category]" tile at the end.

Brand collection page

vapehub.co.uk/brand/elux/ (and every other brand page)

Brand pages today are bare product grids. Buyers landing here from branded search ("elux liquids", "elux 15k") get no orientation and no depth content. Two modules reuse the components built for collection + product pages.

1
Above the product grid

Module 1 — Brand sub-collection pills

What: Same component as on category pages, different query — shows the brand's own product lines instead of sibling categories. On /brand/elux/: Elux Legend Nic Salts → Elux ENE Legend 15K Pods → Elux Liquids.

Why: Lets buyers slice into a brand by product type without going back to the top nav.

3
Bottom of page

Module 3 — Related guides (brand-tagged)

What: 4 article cards filtered to the current brand.

Why: Brand pages should double as brand hubs — shop products, then read the depth content. Eg. on /brand/elux/: Elux Liquids guide, Elux vs Bar Juice comparison, Elux brand story.
